The first edition of CALCOMOVIDAS took place at the cultural space La Parceria on the 7th of November 2021 and the theme of this event was centered around music, the artists were commissioned music related designs such as lyrics, drawings inspired by albums etc...

We had different activities happening simultaneously in the two floors of the building. At the ground floor the B2BBS DJ set was going on and people could dance, drink and eat food meanwhile at the top floor we had the tattoo studio where @polvo.eres @triplee_v @inkmerss and I were tattoing. @teknologyas put a market with their handmade clothing and @triplee_v had her art in exhibition and sale with a projection of what was happening downstairs in real time on the wall.

The performatic aspect of this event was brought to life by the assistants whom intervened over the photographic documents that we were also taking and printing on real time.

The main concept around this project is to reunite different artistic disciplines in the same place, to create a space of open conversation where everything interwines and the assistants can add their own vision and participate whereas is by engaging with the activities taking place like getting tattoed or drawing over pictures or just enjoying the event, bringing friends and energy and contributing to revive and support the local artistic scene.
